It's always a great pleasure to see talented young musicians such as Clifton Hicks. He preserves Kentucky banjo traditions, makes beautiful fretless banjos for sale, and offers online banjo lessons on Patreon.
We recorded 7 tunes this time, including our favorites Hold On, Hook And Line and Moonshiner, which he mainly learned from his banjo mentor George Gibson. He sometimes adds his own verses on the tunes, and it's impressive to see him inheriting traditions with his own creativity.
