A musical icon in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Johnny Florez has been playing Mariachi music over 80 years. Many of Las Cruces residents recognize him from his shows at the Farmers and Crafts Market.
It was a great opportunity to visit him for the recording, and hear a lot of great stories.

We recorded several songs including well-known "De Colores" - he turned 90 years young and he still sounds so strong with his 12-string guitar.
